GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average pay for GPs working in the practice of The River Surgery in the last financial year was £27,572 before Tax and National Insurance.

This is for 1 full time GP and 2 part time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.

The prescribed method for calculating earnings can be potentially misleading as it does not take into account how much time Doctor's spend working in the practice and should not be used to form a judgement about GP earnings or make any comparison with another GP practice.
